General Session Information / Fees & Payment / Contact Form
As most habitual behaviors and thought patterns take a minimum of three weeks (21 days) to create or change, for most applications we start with with three sessions, approximately a week apart. These three sessions will aid you in 'reprogramming' your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors around your issues. They will fortify those new thoughts and behaviors, and desensitize you to things unexpected which can surface from the past, or appear suddenly in the present; as things tend to do. Occasionally issues are cleared up in one or two sessions, and some take more than three. There is no one-size-fits-all with hypnosis; but I will have a better idea of what we can expect after our first session. The hypnosis I practice is highly individualized from person to person, and that is one reason it works so well. After we've had a session or two; you will know as well as or better than I how to best proceed.
Factors which can come into play regarding number of sessions needed are the underlying willingness and/or relative resistance of the subject to undergo hypnosis, the strength of the desire for change, the relative responsiveness of the subject (which is very much improved with regular practice at home), and the application to be addressed. For example, weight loss can sometimes take six sessions or more, and smoking has been achieved in as few as one; although my smoking protocol is three sessions; as fortification and desensitizing negative peripheral issues are key to avoiding relapse.
The first session is longer than subsequent sessions. Following are the time and fee rates for each:
First Session 2.5 hours $265
Subsequent Sessions 1.5 hours $165
With the first session you are taught self-hypnosis; which you should practice daily for at least three weeks and which will be an important part of cementing the changes you are looking to make. Doing self-hypnosis will also enhance your responsiveness while undergoing sessions with me. Additionally, once you are comfortable with self-hypnosis, you will be able to be self-sufficient in creating any other future changes for yourself down the road.
In addition to self-hypnosis, at the first session I also teach you several relaxation/coping tools and thought-clearing tools; all of which you can you use at any time - for any purpose - without anybody knowing you're using them.
I accept payment at the time of services by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Venmo, and Zelle.
An appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged any part of or up to the full session fee. Clients who reschedule or cancel as a pattern will be given notice of same, and thereafter may be charged part of or a full session fee.
